Welcome to the Edinburgh University Swing Dance Society. We are a buzzing society with regular classes in Lindy Hop, Charleston, Shag and Balboa. Anyone can join us - no dance experience is required! Just come along to one of our tasters or to one of our first two Monday classes to try it out for free. See the classes page to read about our classes and how to join.

Swing Dance Taster Class!
Our beginning of term, welcome week taster class will take place on Monday the 11th of September, 3-4pm at Quaker Studio in Pleasance. The taster session is FREE and afterwards we're planning on heading over to Jazz Soc's first performance of the year for a bit more dancing: https://www.eusa.ed.ac.uk/events/id/2934-jack-daniels-jazz-club
Don’t worry - you won’t need to bring a partner, but if you want to, the more the merrier! We will be starting from scratch, so no experience required. Hope to see as many of you there as possible!
Following the taster session, the first two weeks of class are free, after that, membership is required and gives you access to all of our regular classes at no extra cost!
After this point, we ask that complete beginners wait until the following semester to join us when we will start the beginner course again from scratch.
